New Managing Director Schade Lagertechnik
of the Aumund Group

Dr. Jan Weckes takes over the management of Schade Lagertechnik GmbH in Gelsenkirchen/Germany. Jan Weckes describes Schade Lagertechnik GmbH as “a milestone in his professional development”. With the decision to steer the global business of the renowned company from now on, he remains true to his passion for sophisticated technology.

At IAS GmbH, international technology leader in the field of induction furnace construction and part of the SMS Group, he was responsible for strengthening order intake and expanding strategic cooperation within the group. During his time at MBE Coal & Minerals Technology GmbH, he had previously taken on the task of building up the Global Sales & Marketing Division. New plant and service business were equally in focus in both positions. He gained experience in the markets relevant for Schade Lagertechnik during his worldwide assignments in the context of his work for Outotec GmbH.

Dr. Jan Weckes is now combining these many years of experience for his new challenges: “Schade Lagertechnik is one of the leading international companies for bulk material handling stations and blending beds. The company looks back on a long history and is a recognized specialist for storage technology. Together we want to build on the successes and continue to grow. Numerous innovations, customized technology that focuses on sustainability, plus a network of experts in sales and service are important pillars for this growth. I am very much looking forward to contributing my commitment and experience to this international team at Schade.”
