Indonesia are building two new product lines in Tuban IV and Tonasa V which will produce a total capacity of 2 x 2.5 million t/a cement. With a market share of 45 % P.T. Semen Gresik is one of the largest cement producers in Indonesia. CLAUDIUS PETERS (CP) was selected to supply eight cement bagging plants and the equipment for seven cement silos for both lines. Based on CP’s proven solutions in silo technology, the CP Expansion Chamber (EC) silo (Fig.) was specified as well as a total of thirteen mobile loaders for the bulk loading of cement and CP’s state-of-the-art bagging technology. Eight bagging machines (2400 bags/h, 50 kg bags) will be supplied each equipped with an automatic bag applicator and two truck loaders.
