Bulk solids picking and dosing system At POWTECH, KOKEISL Industrial Systems, an internationally expanding supplier of bulk solids picking and dosing systems, will be informing visitors about automated workflows for the chemicals, pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs and plastics industries. On a stand covering 80 m², the company is demonstrating the clean and precise picking of bulk solids at several KOKEISL dosing stations (Fig.). The removal of the bulk solids is based on the principle of gravity. Thanks to the integrated KOKEISL fluidisator, even poorly flowing bulk solids can be dosed with great flexibility and accuracy. Picking is performed fully automatically. The required bulk solid is removed from storage by the picking vehicle, the KOKEISL Picking Robot, in any quantities from a few grams to max. 2 t and transported to the next production process. The picking vehicle is equipped with either one or even two weighing scales and can transport more than one storage container. Thanks to the modular system and the ANT Bluebotics navigation system, the KOKEISL Picking Robot moves at a speed of max. 1.5 m/s. And with an accuracy of +/– 10 mm through the production operation.
