(57) Summary of the corresponding patent EP2559674 (A1): Producing a hydraulically reactive clinker, comprises sintering a raw meal comprising calcium oxide, aluminum oxide-ferric oxide system, silicon dioxide and sulfur trioxide, converting the raw meal into a clinker intermediate at greater than 1200-1350[deg] C during a period of sintering, converting the clinker intermediate product at 1200-750[deg] C during the period of blasting to obtain the desired amount of (I), and a certain amount of aluminate- and ferrate phase and residues of the crystalline hightemperature phases of the raw materials with (II), (III) and (I), and cooling the clinker. Producing a hydraulically reactive clinker, comprises: sintering a raw meal comprising calcium oxide, aluminum oxide-ferric oxide system, silicon dioxide and sulfur trioxide; converting the raw meal into a clinker intermediate at a temperature of greater than 1200-1350[deg] C during a period of sintering; converting the clinker intermediate product at 1200-750[deg] C during the period of blasting to obtain the desired amount of calcium oxide silicate mineral of formula (C1 5S1 2Y) (I), and a certain amount of aluminate- and ferrate phase and residues of the crystalline high-temperature phases of the raw materials with calcium oxide of formula (C1Y) (II), tetracalcium aluminate ferrite of formula (C1 4(A1 xF1 - x)Y) (III) and (I); and cooling the clinker with the major components comprising (in wt.%) tetracalcium aluminate ferrite of formula (C1 4(A1 xF1 1- x) 3Y) (IV) (5-70), alpha dicalcium silicate or beta dicalcium silicate (1-80), (I) (5-75) and secondary phases (0-30). H1 : H 2O; C1 : CaO; A1 : Al 2O 3; F1 : Fe 2O 3; M : MgO; S1 : SiO 2; Y : SO 3; and x : not defined. Independent claims are also included for: (1) cement obtained by grinding the above mentioned clinker; and (2) a binding agent comprising the cement as the hydraulically reactive components.
