(57) Provided is a cement additive which can significantly improve strength of a cured product of a cement composition for a prolonged period of time. Also provided is a cement composition which includes the cement additive. This cement additive includes: a compound (A) which has a mass average molecular weight of greater than 3000 and a structure in which 5 mol or more of alkylene oxide is added to 1 mol of polyhydric alcohol; and an alkanolamine compound (B).
