JSW Cement increases the capacity of its Bellary plant

JSW Cement Ltd are all geared up to increase their capacity from the current 1.0 to 3.4 million t/a. The additional capacity will help JSW Cement to strengthen its distribution network in high-demand potential areas throughout south India.

Speaking on the occasion, Anil ­Kumar Pillai, Director & CEO of JSW Cement, said: “JSW Cement today is one of the fastest growing cement companies in India. We have a distribution network of 1800 dealers and approximately 5000 subdealers across the southern market, Maharashta Goa and Orissa. This new additional facility will help us to further increase our network in the southern markets and help us serve our customers better. The additional facility is highly energy efficient and would churn out superior quality PSC cement and GGBS from this plant.”
