Management change at Holcim Deutschland

As of February 2018, Thorsten Hahn is new CEO at Holcim (Deutschland) GmbH. He takes over from Jens Diebold, the previous CEO, who is rejoining the parent company LafargeHolcim in Zürich.

Thorsten Hahn has German nationality. The family man has so far been working at Sika Deutschland GmbH, where he can look back on a 15-year career in various professional and management positions with market focus. At Sika, as a member of the management team, he oversaw the Concrete and Waterproofing Division. A graduate in construction engineering (RWTH University of Aachen) and business engineering (University of Hagen), he was also a member of the global Sika Senior Management. Before joining Sika, Thorsten Hahn worked in research and development at the Anneliese Zementwerke, and in construction consulting, specializing in cement.
