Software partnership

The engineering software provider Aucotec AG, headquartered in Hannover/Germany, has joined the Siemens PLM Software Solution Partner Program as a software and technology partner. Aucotec uses Siemens PLM software technology to enhance the PLM integration of its Engineering Base (EB) system. This means that Aucotec can now offer its current and future customers closer integration with the Teamcenter® portfolio, the same technology that companies around the world depend on every day to enhance product development decision making and produce better products.

The solution created by the partnership will keep all information securely managed throughout the whole lifecycle of the engineered plant, machine or mobile equipment. This enables the management and distribution of released engineering documents with access control and revision management for the fastest availability of up-to-date project data information from EB. In addition, all purchasing and manufacturing lists can be created and updated to ensure proper data in all associated departments at any time. This new solution automatically synchronizes catalog material information with product master data to avoid multiple data input and unnecessary errors. Furthermore, workflows can be specified individually.
