State-of-the-art equipment for new cement plant
ABB received an order to provide electrification, automation and drive solutions for Medcem’s greenfield cement plant project in Turkey. The new plant will be located in Mersin, on the Mediterranean coast. With an estimated 10 000 t/d of clinker, the plant will have the largest production capacity in Turkey. Production start-up is planned for March 2014.
