Wacker Polymers, a branch of Wacker Chemie AG, Munich/Germany, announced an expansion of its existing vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer (VAE) dispersions production facility in the United States. In Calvert City, Kentucky, a new reactor with an annual capacity of 85 000 t will be added, an investment amounting to around 50 million € in the site’s capacity and infrastructure.
