Welcome to the Third Weimar Gypsum Conference
The Weimar Gypsum Conference is being organized this year in cooperation with the Association of the German Gypsum Industry and the Gypsum Association of the Russian Federation. Fifty submitted papers will provide a starting point for expert debates and interesting discussions. Naturally, the talks will be simultaneously translated (German/Russian) for the international public.
Following the great success of the 2nd Weimar Gypsum Conference in 2014 with 128 attendees from 15 countries and 56 conference papers, the 3rd Weimar Gypsum Conference, which is taking place from 14.03.-15 .03.2017, is intended as a forum for a broad exchange of ideas relating to calcium sulphate binders and their application.
The Conference framework offers ample opportunity for stimulating discussions and the exchange of ideas between the developers, manufacturers and users of construction materials. Development trends and accordingly future work priorities will be shown and consequently accelerate the transfer of research findings to the field. This refers especially to the manufacture and application of energy-efficient construction materials as well as new approaches for using recycled material on a calcium sulphate basis. Our Conference is therefore important not only for the manufacturers of construction materials but also for facilities manufacturing equipment as well as for construction companies.
Focuses at the conference will be:
– Calcium sulphate binders and binder systems containing calcium-sulphate
– Hydration and processing
– Additives and their effect
– Calcium sulphate construction materials and their recyclability
– Calcium sulphate and preservation of historical buildings as well as
– Products on a calcium sulphate basis and their long-term use
