Dry-mix mortar in Russia inaugurated

quick-mix – a company of the Sievert building materials group – officially inaugurated its first dry-mix mortar factory on Russian soil on 10 June 2010. More than 250 guests had accepted the invitation to Noginsk – the largest foreign factory of quick-mix so far. Noginsk is the 25th location of the company. Prof. Dr. Hans-Wolf Sievert (Fig.), chairman of the supervisory board of Sievert AG, said “The volume of capital spending is also large – quick-mix has invested 20 million € in Russia.” The dry-mix mortar factory has been designed for a capacity of 100 000 t per year in the first stage. The factory could be extended to 150 000 t. They produce in three shifts. The company is managed by Dimitrij Komardenkov and Niklas Sievert. All product groups of the quick-mix program will be manufactured. In their forecasts the institutes of economy expect a growth of five per cent in Russia as regards the production of dry-mix mortar. This would amount to 5.41 million t in 2010. For 2011 a growth of 15% is expected, i.e. 6.22 million t.
