Technological innovations

On June 9th and 10th 2011 the IV Brazilian Cement and Lime Seminar was held at Anhembi Conventions Palace, in São Paulo/Brazil. The event gathered together around 400 people consisting of sponsors and participants and had Votorantim Cimentos as the main sponsor. Sponsors and participants came from Brazil, the Americas, Europe and Asia. Participants represented all the Brazilian cement and lime manufacturing groups and many foreign companies. All lectures were evaluated by the attending audience. The presentation from M.Sc. Eng. Joana Bretz de Souza entitled “Flow Stratification – “Invisible” Limitation to Co-processing” got the Votorantim Cimentos Award as the best paper. A business area and social activities stimulated networking and information exchange. The very successful event in 2011 raised the bar for the next event targeted for 2013 to be organized by A TEC GRECO.
