Quality pays off


The “Warta” cement works (Fig. 1) with an annual production of 1.6 million tons of clinker is one of the biggest plants in Poland (Infobox 1). It is located in the small town of Tre˛baczew in the area of the Cracow/Wielun Jura (Figs. 2a and 2b).
