Binder production in the Republic of ­Uzbekistan: Present and future

The production of building materials is one of Uzbekistan’s leading industries, and definitively influences the further development of other important sectors of the country’s economy. In addition to numerous other large-scale construction projects, investment in the renovation of existing industrial properties, schools, medical facilities and similar social amenities has been in progress for more than ten years now. This Central Asian country attaches great importance in the manufacture of building materials to the supply of high-quality products.

1 Introduction

The construction industry plays a special role in the economic development and in the raising of social well-being in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
