Cement mill for Lafarge in Russia

Lafarge Cement decided to use a grinding plant with a Pfeiffer vertical roller mill in its ­Fe­rzikovo plant in Russia. The MPS 5300 BC with a drive power of 5500 kW will produce 190 t/h of CEM I 42.5 R with a specific surface of 3600 cm2/g and various blended cements.

In addition to the vertical roller mill the scope of supply will cover the plant filter, the fan, the handling equipment of the external material circulation as well as its dust collection equipment. Gebr. Pfeiffer SE will check the General Contractor’s planning documents for this order and supply additional engineering documents. Delivery of the mill and other equipment was scheduled to begin as early as July 2013, with erection and commissioning due in 2014.
