From Shree Cement Limited in Kolkata/India Gebr. Pfeiffer SE has received the order to set up a MPS 5000 B for the production of raw meal at their Ras plant (Rajasthan), where currently the 8th kiln line is under construction. The product will be classified in an integrated high-efficiency classifier of the type SLS-B which is of the latest generation. The moisture contained in the feed material will be dried in the mill during the grinding process by using exhaust gases from the cement rotary kiln.
Pet coke which is used as fuel at the works will be ground to a fineness of 1–2 % R 90 µm in an MPS 2800 BK coal mill which will come equipped with a 720-kW drive and an integrated high-efficiency classifier of the type SLS-BK.
The core components of the mills and the gear units will be supplied from Europe by Gebr. Pfeiffer SE whereas Gebr. Pfeiffer (India) Pvt. Ltd. will source components like the housing of the mills and the classifiers, the foundation parts as well as the internal parts of the classifiers.
