(57) The present invention relates to the production of a mortar made of cement and polypropylene plastic waste for manufacturing beam fill pieces for one-way slab floors. The method is to be used in the construction sector to produce one-way slab floors having curved beam fill or arches, with beams made of timber, metal and/or concrete, and to restore slab floors with timber beams by using the existing beams. The method of the invention comprises preparing the mortar by mixing plastic waste in different percentages with cement, commercial aggregate and water to define the mortar. The beam fill piece has different geometric configurations, depending on whether the arched slab floors are constructed with timber beams, concrete beams or metal beams, and same is positioned in situ. In turn, the proposed piece allows a construction solution that is good in terms of both eco-efficiency, because plastic material is recycles, and structure, providing a slab floor solution that is lighter and more thermally insulating than the traditional solution.
