South Africa’s PPC is the newest Corporate Member of WCA
The World Cement Association announced that PPC, a leading provider of cement, lime, ready-mix concrete and aggregates across sub-Saharan Africa, has joined WCA as a Corporate Member.
With over 3300 employees and eight clinker plants in South Africa, Botswana, DRC, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Zimbabwe, PPC operates an annual cement production capacity of around 11.5 million t/a. In Southern Africa, PPC also serves customers through a network of 26 ready-mix plants, five aggregates quarries, two fly ash plants and a lime operation.
PPC is an iconic building material and solutions provider, focusing on quality and consistent cement, aggregates, metallurgical-grade lime, burnt dolomite, limestone, ready-mix concrete and fly ash. PPC also provides technical support to its customers. The PPC story stretches back over 127 years to where it first incorporated on the outskirts of Pretoria in 1892.
