Oscar Nieto Sanz is Policy Officer at the European Commission. After representing the interests of the industry, he joined the European Commission to negotiate the new Construction Products Regulation. He is now responsible for its implementation. His tasks include collaborating with CEN on standardization, developing sustainability and circular economy criteria, and implementing the Digital Product Passport as part of European construction policy.
