When refractory repairs are performed, special attention must be paid to safely securing refractory ceiling structures. In the segment for innovative ceiling safety systems, RefraSolid offers the products RS Safety Web and RS Safety Net (see Figure ) as an important contribution to work safety. The danger of injury can be minimized already during installation and later during maintenance of refractory linings. The systems enable all installations in gas pipelines, calciner, kiln hoods and cyclone roofs to be secured in a very short time. Optimum protection for inspection of a rotary kiln is provided by the mobile safety scaffold RS Protector Two. This can be used to assess possible damage and perform minor repairs without having to remove the entire coating first.
