German-Chinese standards portal
The German-Chinese standards information portal was officially opened in Berlin on 12th October 2009. The portal serves as an information source as regards the standards and standardization systems valid in both countries. By means of an efficient search the companies can easily and systematically research the standards needed for their products. Search items can be entered in German, English and Chinese. The standard titles found are displayed in German and Chinese with the corresponding English translation.
The portal will be supported by the national standardization organizations of China and Germany – Standardization Administration of China (SAC) and DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V. Selected bibliographical data of the approx. 60 000 standards that can be researched via the portal will be exchanged and updated every month. For standards based on international standards the degree of coincidence (identical, modified) will also be displayed.
