RETSCH presents a new product generation at Powtech (Fig.). As a highlight the new cutting mill SM 300 will be exhibited for the first time. This powerful instrument features a variable speed which makes it easily adaptable to the particular application requirements. The mill is characterized by comfortable operation and quick and easy cleaning. For sieve analyses RETSCH has designed two new instruments which now makes the RETSCH sieving equipment range the widest in the world. The vibratory sieve shaker AS 450 control separates up to 25 kg of material very effectively, so that no manual re-sieving is required. The air jet sieving machine AS 200 jet is used for sieving fine powders which tend to agglomerate. The procedure is very gentle on the material; the average sieving time takes only about 2 to 3 minutes.
