Raw meal grinding at the Izmir works
BATIÇIM Batı Anadolu Çimento Sanayi A.S¸./Turkey placed an order for the supply of a Pfeiffer MPS roller mill which will increase the capacity of the cement works located in the east of Izmir’s Bornova district to 4500 tpd. The MPS 4750 B with an installed power rating of 3800 kW has been guaranteed to grind 380 t/h of cement raw material to a raw meal fineness of 12 % R 90 µm. The Pfeiffer mill will replace the existing ball mills for two kiln lines and is slated for delivery in 2011.
