Safe cleaning of persons
Staff cleaning is under close scrutiny in many industries. Methods using compressed air deployed so far are loud and, occasionally, lead to injuries. The company ACI produce blow-off devices, type JETBLACK (Fig.). It is thought that the advantage of the air blast lies in its efficiency. Such a device makes it possible to direct the air jet directly towards the entire body. The wall-mounted units are equipped with a blower of 1400 W from where the filtered air can be transmitted to the body or to the clothes with less than 170 mbar via a hose of 1.5 m length. With less than 78 dB(A) the devices are particularly quiet and, with a weight of less than 7 kg, they can be used everywhere.
