Increasing capacity at Zahana

At the Zahana cement plant of Societé des Ciments de Zahana, Northern-Algeria, CBMI has decided to increase the capacity of the plant significantly. Replacing the existing mill by a Loesche mill type LM 48.4 (Fig.), a capacity of 425 t/h raw material with a fineness of 14 % R 90 can be achieved. The mill motor is designed for a capacity of 2400 kW.

Additionally to the Loesche vertical roller mill, the equipment delivered by Loesche will be a hot gas generator LOMA type LM 36 and all spare parts required. According to the contract the delivery of the equipment is planned within 12 months, while commissioning is scheduled for the 2nd half of 2013.
