Three Pfeiffer mills for Bolu Cimento Sanayii A.S. in Kazan
Bolu Cimento Sanayii A.S., a member of the Turkish Oyak Group, has ordered three vertical roller mills from Gebr. Pfeiffer SE for the new production line in Kazan near Ankara. There, the already installed cement grinding plant will be expanded to form a complete cement works. The mills are scheduled to be delivered in summer 2014.
An MPS 4500 B with a drive power of 3150 kW will be used for cement raw material grinding. The mill is guaranteed to produce 320 t/h at a product fineness of 12 % residue on the 0.090 mm screen.
Pet coke and lignite will be ground in an MPS 225 BK vertical roller mill with a drive power of 400 kW. The throughput rate of this mill when grinding pet coke will be 20 t/h at a fineness of 3 % residue on the 0.090 mm screen and 35 t/h when processing lignite.
Bolu Cimento also opted for the Pfeiffer mill technology for cement grinding, ordering a mill of the type MPS 4500 BC with a drive power of 3300 kW. This mill will yield 130 t/h of CEM I at a specific surface of 3900 cm2/g acc. to Blaine.
