Beumer Group strengthens its position in the field of conveying and loading technology
The Beumer Group, Beckum/Germany, a leading international manufacturer of intralogistics systems in the field of conveying and loading systems, palletizing and packaging technology, sorting and distribution systems has acquired FAM GmbH, Magdeburg/Germany, a supplier of conveying systems and loading technology. The contracts were signed with the aim of completing the transaction until the end of May. This significantly strengthens the Beumer Group’s market position in the large equipment sector as well.
The FAM Group, with headquarters in Magdeburg, Germany, is an internationally operating medium-sized group with a tradition as a manufacturer of conveying systems going back to the 19th century. FAM is one of the world’s leading full-range suppliers of bulk materials handling and processing plants.
