Four GPSE mills for Elazig˘ cement works
Due to the good experience gained with the Bartin MPS mill ordered in 2010, Bilim Makina Insaat Sanayi ve Tic. a. s. placed another order with Gebr. Pfeiffer, this time for four mills, which will be set up at a cement works in Elazig˘ situated to the east of Ankara.
The order covers an MPS 250 BK roller mill with a drive power of 500 kW for coal grinding and two safety shut-off dampers. The mill is designed to yield 35 t/h of petroleum coke, with the material being ground to a fineness of 3.5 % R 90 µm.
A Pfeiffer mill of the type MPS 5000 B will be used for cement raw material grinding. The mill featuring a drive power of 3800 kW will be capable of producing 470 t/h of cement raw material ground to a fineness of 12 % R 90 µm.
Bilim Makina has selected two Pfeiffer vertical roller mills of the type MPS 5000 BC for cement grinding. Each of the mills features a drive power of 4400 kW and will grind 200 t/h of OPC with a specific surface of 3400 cm2/g acc. to Blaine.
All four mills are scheduled to be delivered in spring of 2015.
