Gebr. Pfeiffer announces a ready2grind system with MVR mill technology for LafargeHolcim Colombia
LafargeHolcim Colombia has awarded Gebr. Pfeiffer an order for the modular ready2grind cement grinding system that includes the latest innovative MVR technology for vertical roller mills. LafargeHolcim decided to take advantage of the exceptional value offered by the modular ready2grind concept including faster and less expensive transportation and plant construction.
The new cement grinding plant will comprise the clinker feed modular hopper system, Gebr. Pfeiffer ready2grind milling circuit and product storage systems plus a packing plant by Claudius Peters. The Gebr. Pfeiffer MVR 2500 C-4 will be installed together with a feed system, filter, fan, auxiliary equipment and the complete electrical/control system.
The demand for modular cement grinding systems including the latest vertical roller mill technology continues to grow and is being met by the innovative ready2grind. This project represents the fourth of such systems worldwide. The advantages of this technology are:
