Gebr. Pfeiffer wins another order for vertical roller mill for Iraqi market

The Chinese General Contractor Sinoma (Suzhou) Constructrion Co. Ltd., Kunshan, has placed an order with Gebr. Pfeiffer SE for the supply of an MPS 5000 B which will be installed at Saman cement works. The mill featuring an installed drive power of 4000 kW will be grinding ≥ 500 t/h of cement raw material to a product fineness of ≤ 10 % residue on 80 µm.

With this order, Gebr. Pfeiffer SE will supply the 6th mill of this type to Iraq via the Chinese General Contractor. This reflects the high level of customer satisfaction and the confidence placed in the Pfeiffer grinding technology. The mill is slated for delivery in 2016.

Vertical roller mill for Togo

Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co. Ltd., belonging to the Chinese Sinoma Group and acting as General Contractor for a new cement production line in the West African Togo, has ordered an MPS 5000 B vertical roller mill for raw material grinding at Gebr. Pfeiffer SE. The grinding plant will be set up in a greenfield 5000-t/d cement production line owned by Scantogo, a member of the HeidelbergCement Group.
