Loesche technology for new 5000 t/d production line in the Philippines

San Miguel Northern Cement Incorporated is relying on Loesche technology for the new 5000 t/d production line at the Sison site in the province of Pangasinan.

The scope of supply includes two complete grinding plants, one with an LM 56.4 for cement raw material and one with an LM 35.3 D for sub-bituminous coal.

In addition to the mechanical equipment, Loesche also supplies a majority of the electrotechnical components and the automation with modern control technology, e.g. the software LM Master developed by Loesche for process optimisation.

Loesche is also responsible for the plant engineering, the supply of filters, blowers, etc. Supplying mechanics, electrical engineering, automation supplemented by an engineering package reduces the number of interfaces and increases the efficiency of the overall plant, since all outputs and components are coordinated in the best possible way.

The introduction of Hurriclon technology for dedusting raw mills is considered a success. San Miguel Northern Cement is also impressed by the high energetic efficiency and has consequently opted for the state-of-the-art dedusting technology.

Hurriclon technology was introduced to the cement industry by the Loesche company A TEC and specially optimised for dedusting raw material mills.

The delivery will be made at the start of the coming year.
