Nanocem celebrates its 10th Anniversary

Founded in 2004, Nanocem, a consortium of 23 academic and 11 industry partners all interested in fundamental research into the nano- and micro-scale of the phenomena that govern the performance of cements and concrete, celebrates its 10th anniversary. For this reason, a meeting open to all players in the construction industry will be held on April 8th, 2014 in Lausanne/Switzerland. Some of the key achievements of the network will be presented. Among them:
- Thermodynamics modelling to quantify hydrated phases in cement
- Influence of admixtures on cement hydration
- Reactivity of blended cements
