Limestone calcined clay cement utilizing low-temperature calcined clay

(43) 06.08.2025

(57) The present invention relates to limestone calcined clay cement (LC3) that can exhibit performance equivalent to or higher than that of existing cement while reducing carbon emissions by reducing the amount of clinker used and utilizing low-temperature calcined clay and limestone. The present invention provides “limestone calcined clay cement (LC3)” characterized in that it is composed by mixing and crushing clinker, calcined clay, limestone fine powder, and gypsum, wherein the calcined clay is clay having a kaolin content of 40 wt.% or more calcined at 700 to 800 °C.
