(57) Provided is a cement clinker that can be produced at a lower firing temperature with the use of a larger amount of waste matters, compared to conventional cement clinkers, and exhibits good easy firing and cement strength developing properties. A cement clinker that has a total content of C₃A and C₄AF of 22 mass% or more and a content of C₃S of 60 mass% or more, when calculated by the Borg formula, and an iron content (I.M.) of 1.3 or less. By adjusting the Ba0 content of the cement clinker to from 0.05 mass% to less than 0.7 mass%, good easy firing and cement strength developing properties can be achieved.
