Excellent lime plasters, lime paintings and lime fillers
The German Institute for Sustainable Construction (German acronym DINB) has classified the Calcea and Carema lime systems produced by Zement und Kalkwerke Otterbein as “building-biologically sound”.
Having already been awarded with an “allergic-friendly product” certificate by Germany’s Institute of Environment and Health (German acronym IUG) last year, all 19 lime-based Otterbein products have now also received a positive ranking from DINB. Otterbein’s lime plaster and lime coating systems are therefore officially recognized as high-quality building materials for use in achieving building-biologically sound, sustainable homes and indoor climates. As of immediately, the DINB website (//www.dinb.de" target="_blank" >www.dinb.de:www.dinb.de) is offering a collection of product profiles for quick, well-founded reference. This entire Otterbein assortment is based on the natural product lime. The products contain no cement and no synthetic or organic binders.
