Haver & Boecker’s packer of tomorrow will elevate the image of cement to being more than just a consumable
The following article is the third part of Haver & Boecker´s “The cement plant of the future” series of articles (for part one see ZKG 1-2/2016, pp. 48-55 and for part two see ZKG 6/2016, pp. 40-47). In the mid 1920’s the company began to build packing machines for cement. Haver & Boecker shaped the packing technology market when it introduced the world-renowned ROTO-Packer in the 1960’s, which is copied to this day by competitors around the globe. At the end of the 1990’s Haver & Boecker introduced the SEAL technology, capable of welding paper valve bags completely shut after the filling process. Ten years ago the ADAMS was introduced as the first technology in the world capable of filling cement into plastic bags for better logistics and continuous production.
