New cement plant from Christian Pfeiffer for YD Madencilik A.S. in Turkey
Christian Pfeiffer will supply two grinding plants for a new cement plant of the YD Madencilik A.S. (Üstyapi Insaat Group).
In the Düzce region, 200 km east of Istanbul, a new cement plant of the YD Madencilik A.S. is being built. Christian Pfeiffer has already demonstrated great competence in one previous project (2015) and won the trust of Üstyapi, which is why the project was issued directly to Christian Pfeiffer. For the new plant, Christian Pfeiffer will supply two parallel grinding plants, consisting of a roller press (2x 1450 kW) and a ball mill (Ø 4.0 x 13.0 m, 3200 kW), supplemented by a static separator KS200 and a Twin Feed Separator TFS 325-Z.
Each of the two plants ensures a production of 210 t/h OPC. Alternatively, the two grinding plants can also be operated separately to allow production of different types of cement. Furthermore, it is also possible to operate the roller presses or the ball mills in single mode.
In accordance to the construction process, first components were already delivered at the end of 2018. The entire supply will be completed by May 2019.
