Pfeiffer mill for HeidelbergCement’s Kaspi plant in Georgia
In November 2016, Gebr. Pfeiffer SE received an order to supply a vertical roller mill, which will be set up in the new 3000-t/d kiln line at HeidelbergCement Group’s Kaspi plant.
The mill of the type MPS 4000 B, equipped with a classifier of the type SLS 3750 B, has been designed for a capacity of 270 t/h of raw meal. The mill will be delivered with an enlarged housing to allow the raw material with a moisture of up to 10 % to be dried almost exclusively with the available preheater gases.
The order was placed through the Chinese General Contractor Sinoma Chengdu.
Commissioning of the plant is scheduled for 2018.
