Powtech 2016 – see you in Nuremberg!
Do you work in the cement and building material production sector? Then Powtech 2016 is just the trade fair for you. Join us in Nuremberg to see the latest developments in mechanical process engineering and powder and bulk solids handling. Around 900 exhibitors will be showcasing their latest systems for pulverising, separating, mixing, transporting and many other process steps.
As the leading fair for mechanical processing technology, Powtech reflects the great diversity of applications for the processes used in a wide range of sectors. This means that there will be plenty of opportunities to learn from other industrial sectors and obtain new inspiration. But it also means that at Powtech, you will specifically find the information and processes that are totally relevant to the needs of the building and binding material sector.
However, the event will not just allow you to experience traditional mechanical processes, including live demonstrations by many exhibitors, it also highlights a wealth of ancillary technologies, from measurement and analysis through process control to environmental protection, packaging and logistics. At Powtech, you will find the concepts and individual building blocks that will enable you to launch the fourth industrial revolution (known in Germany as Industry 4.0) at your own company. Energy-intensive industries in particular can cut the consumption of resources by using these tools and achieve more sustainable production thanks to cutting-edge processes.
I would like to cordially invite you to witness the state-of-the-art at Powtech and acquire the latest process expertise from our wide-ranging international supporting programme, which we have substantially extended for 2016. To this end, we were once again able to attract high-calibre speakers and key industry players. As well as the three exhibitor forums in Halls 2, 3 and 3A, there is also the newly established “Future Generation” zone, a showcase for universities and research establishments including a constantly updated jobs board.
