Powtech 2017 – your sector is meeting in Nuremberg

If you are active in cement and building materials production, you will know that thousands of builders rely on your products every year. Your sector’s products quite literally hold together roads, family homes and, yes, entire towns and cities.

There is no magical formula for this achievement; it is your technical expertise and processes that have been perfectly planned down to the smallest detail that count. You will find new input for both areas – technical expertise and process technology – at the Powtech 2017 exhibition. Visit us in Nuremberg – and experience the latest developments relating to mechanical process technology, bulk solid and powder handling and analysis in six exhibition halls. About 850 exhibitors will display their latest systems for size reduction, separating, mixing, conveying and many other process stages. The proportion of international exhibitors grows year after year and last stood at 35 %. Companies from Japan, China, the US, Italy, France and Spain – to name just a few countries – will be in attendance in 2017.

I would like to extend a warm invitation to you to come and look around the leading exhibition for mechanical process technology and survey the latest state-of-the-art technology. Many companies exhibit their machines often in live operation at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg. You will be able to review and compare products in detail and learn about improvements directly from experts at the stands.

Incidentally, you and your colleagues can also update your technical expertise at the Powtech. A non-stop programme of sessions awaits you in the exhibition’s Experts’ Forum in Hall 2, addressing topics that are extremely relevant for your sectors. Gain fresh impetus to make processes more efficient, if necessary, and to make manufacturing energy-efficient and resource-efficient, learn about the current situation in building materials recycling and take part in further education about occupational health and safety. After attending these sessions, I recommend that you take a detour to the VDMA Dust-free Future Special Show, which showcases the latest air pollution control systems and filters. The finest dust particles will be ignited in the outdoor demonstration area at Powtech. There the latest explosion protection equipment will prove its mettle in controlled live explosions.

With the Powtech App, you can keep an eye on the exhibition’s diverse programme even when you are on the move.

Powtech is the number one meeting place for industries sourcing powder and bulk goods. We look forward to your visit!

Yours
