We’ll meet again at Powtech in 2022
With combined strength, people all over the world have risen to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic in recent months. The spirit of cooperation and creativity unleashed by the crisis show that, together, we can often do far much more than we might think, and give rise to the hope that we can achieve other ambitious goals, for example, in resource efficiency and environmental protection. In this respect, the European cement industry has already set a clear signal and committed itself to CO2 neutrality by 2050. This is flanked by other initiatives of individual enterprises or industrial associations in adjacent sectors. Innovation therefore does not end with the crisis, but is more important than ever.
Nevertheless, the global impact of Covid-19 remains immense. Against this background, the doors of the Powtech trade fair must unfortunately remain closed this year. In particular, the as yet sometimes unforeseeable effects of the Corona pandemic on travel habits and the economic development of the sectors have seen exhibitors recently hesitating. Many Powtech exhibitors, partners and visitors have felt the same as we do in recent weeks: The heart says yes. But in the current situation, reason must again say no to holding the trade fair.
To continue supporting you as experts in the processing of powders and bulk solids in non-metallic minerals and other sectors, in the summer months we launched the Powtech Virtual Talks. A positive signal was also set by the Powtech World event IPB China, which was successfully staged back at the end of July in Shanghai.
Now, we are preparing wholeheartedly for Powtech 2022 from 26 to 28 April – and for your innovations and ideas that will again be taking centre stage in spring 2022. See you then!
