w&p Zement becomes Alpacem Zement Austria

What began in 2018 on the occasion of the company’s 125th anniversary with the Alpacem umbrella brand is now being continued. The brand identity of the local Alpacem subsidiaries in Austria, Slovenia and Italy will be gradually merged from mid-2023 with the aim of strengthening their positioning in the Alps-Adriatic region.

The first step towards this has now been taken in Austria. w&p Zement GmbH has been renamed Alpacem Zement Austria GmbH and will use this new company name on the Austrian market in the future.

Alpacem Zement Austria GmbH (formerly w&p Zement GmbH) is one of the leading cement and concrete companies in the Alps-Adriatic region and is part of Wietersdorfer Alpacem GmbH, one of the five business units of the Wietersdorfer Group. Alpacem Zement Austria develops, produces and distributes high-quality cements and binders in Austria and abroad. The products of Alpacem Zement

Austria are used in bridge, tunnel and residential construction as well as for basements, foundations and safety structures. The sites of Alpacem Zement Austria GmbH are located in Klein St. Paul (Wietersdorf plant) and in Peggau (Peggau plant).
