A pleasant indoor climate with gypsum

A healthy home starts with the right building materials: Gypsum naturally creates a pleasant indoor climate by regulating humidity and ensuring comfort in living and working spaces. If you value a healthy and pleasant indoor climate, gypsum boards, gypsum wall panels, and gypsum plasters are the ideal solution. At the same time, gypsum impresses with its versatility, fire safety, and ecological safety.

A comfortable and healthy indoor climate is an essential factor for well-being and quality of life – both at home and at work. Gypsum building materials make an important contribution to this: they naturally regulate the humidity in the room. Thanks to their hygroscopic properties, they absorb excess moisture from the air in the room and release it again when the air is dry. This creates a permanently balanced indoor climate that is not only pleasant but also healthy.

This ability has a positive effect on well-being, especially when humidity fluctuates greatly. This is because both too high and too low humidity can affect health – from respiratory irritation to dry mucous membranes. Gypsum products provide a natural remedy here and ensure consistent humidity. This makes them particularly suitable for rooms with high standards of comfort, coziness, and healthy living.

Versatile and healthy living

In addition to their room climate-regulating effect, gypsum-based building materials also offer other structural advantages: they are non-combustible (building material class A) and therefore do not contribute to the fire load of a building. Thanks to the crystalline bound water, gypsum even makes an active contribution to structural fire protection.

Gypsum boards also score points when it comes to sound insulation: in combination with modern insulation materials and intelligent wall structures, even increased sound insulation requirements can be reliably met. In addition, these wall structures also offer excellent thermal insulation, ensuring a constant, pleasant indoor climate even in the cold season.

Flexible interior design

Gypsum building materials not only offer ecological and physical advantages, but also great design freedom. Whether for wall and ceiling cladding, dry plaster, or individual room solutions, gypsum boards can be processed quickly and flexibly. They allow for free floor plan design, independent of load-bearing walls—ideal for modern, adaptable interiors.

In addition, they are manufactured without solvents – a further contribution to healthy building. Their surfaces can be easily painted, wallpapered, or tiled, which also makes them a versatile solution for the entire interior design.

Solid gypsum wallboards are also emission-tested, healthy building materials – made from pure gypsum and free of solvent-based additives. Their monolithic structure supports a balanced indoor climate – permanently, safely, and without any concerns regarding building biology.
