61st BetonTage congress – prefabrication creates living spaces
Precast concrete construction becomes more and more important, not least in the wake of the current discussion about the shortage of affordable housing space. Politics but also the construction and housing industries intend to make even more use of the benefits provided by series construction in order to master the challenges regarding housing construction as well as social issues. This is a chance for the precast concrete industry with its enormous potential due to its efficient procedures, its high degree of standardization and its high level of precision and quality. “Creating living spaces” is therefore the motto of the 61st BetonTage congress, where the precast concrete industry will meet in Neu-Ulm on 14.02.-16.02.2017.
As usual, the annual continuous training platform will be focusing on lectures relating to everything about prefabrication of concrete components, providing relevant sector information on current trends once again. The subjects of the product-specific panels will cover, as usual, all relevant fields of precast concrete elements, ranging from lectures on structural precast construction, on concrete products in road, landscape and garden construction, to pipeline construction through to lightweight concrete and small wastewater treatment plants. The hands-on workshops once again will take up issues from everyday operations in the companies. The program will be complemented by commercial and legal information as well as by an accompanying exhibition of the supplier, machinery and software industries.
