(57) Field: technological processes. Substance: invention relates to devices for making cement. Furnace includes a rotation drive and a rotating drum-mounted drum, inside of which along its entire length a spring is installed, which is made with possibility to change the turns pitch due to its expansion or compression. Drum is made of sections mounted from two subsets identical in size and shape, made in form of hollow quadrangular prisms, bases of which are turned relative to each other along central axis 01-01 subsections by 45° with formation along perimeter of hollow subsections of four rectilinear lines, four internal helical grooves and four smooth curved surfaces of one direction. Generatrix bases of the quadrangular shape of each subsequent hollow subsection are turned relative to the previous hollow subsection along the section axis through angle of 45° with formation along the perimeter of the section along its entire length of four broken screw lines, four broken internal screw grooves and four broken curvilinear surfaces of one direction. Spring is made cylindrical with trapezoidal cross section of turns. Effect: invention provides increased efficiency, expanded process functionality and simplified fabrication.
