Liebherr expands its development department for measuring and sensor technology

The existing development team was expanded with additional specialists for software solutions and applications as well as for the entire hardware development. With the new extended team, Liebherr is also prepared for special customer-specific requirements in future and will be able to start new developments together with customers for a wide range of applications in the field of moisture measurement technology and water content determination.

Sensor development at Liebherr includes the total R&D value chain from the physical idea to the final solution, from the first concept to the finished product. At the Liebherr factory in Bad Schussenried (Southern Germany), the sensors are produced for all industries in an ESD-protected production line. The sensors are used, e.g. for automotive supplies, building materials, glass & ceramics, foodstuffs, agriculture, chemicals and the pharmaceutical industry.
