The World Cement Association appoints two new Joint Chairmen

The World Cement Association announced that it has appointed two new Joint Chairmen, Cui Xingtai of China United Cement Company (CUCC), China and Vincent Lefebvre of Cem’In’Eu, France.

Mr. Cui has been Chairman of CUCC since 2005 and Vice President of CNBM since 2009, and has a wealth of knowledge across the Chinese building materials sector. CUCC has been one of the pioneers in building vertically integrated cement enterprises in China, and has an annual capacity of 120 million t cement, 200 million m3 of concrete and 100 million t of aggregates.

Mr. Lefebvre has dual experience as an international group executive with Holcim and start-up founder, as well as knowledge of markets and innovation, offering a valuable contribution to the WCA’s board.
